The Importance of Professional Equipment

While starting Creative Path Films, David worked on a variety of film projects, from documentaries and client work to music videos and feature films. Among his many endeavors, he hosts a YouTube channel through which he publishes his work, including many reviews of Omnicharge’s products and the grand role they played in his photography and film journey. Photography and cinematography are heavily reliant on high-quality equipment, which is oftentimes energy-intensive beyond a standard battery’s capacity.

“I use a variety of different camera bodies for different jobs; each of them requires constant access to power,” David said in a Q&A session with Omnicharge. “They either need to be rigged up to an external power solution so they can be used continuously, or need to have the internal batteries constantly charged so they can be cycled through.” 

David’s first experience with Omnicharge was through the company’s first-ever crowdfunding campaign for the Omni 20+. 

For him, this was one of the first solutions on the market designed for professionals handling highly sensitive and costly equipment on the go.

But for David, the Omni 20+ model was just the beginning of the journey. He went on to use the Omni 20C+, the Omni Mobile series, and the Omni Ultimate+.

Always on the move, David travels with multiple phones and laptops, which he uses to run his numerous businesses and work on his film shoots. It’s easy to see why a traditional power bank just doesn’t cut it compared to Omnicharge’s portable laptop charger.

One time, David forgot his camera’s charger while on a long work trip on a boat. Having the Omni 20C+ and Omni 12800 on him, he was able to charge his camera using the USB-C power delivery.
